[Tsukiyama seems in high spirits tonight; it's a combination of his physical condition having taken an obvious upswing today and the motive going over well, really. It's a nice reprieve from everything the weekend decided to be; his energy is obvious when he goes to see Ryuunosuke that night.
The knock comes more from habit than necessity by this point; he's sort of wondering how Ryuunosuke took the motive, honestly, because Tsukiyama has definitely noticed the similarity between what he's been told about the Holy Grail War and this and he doesn't doubt that Ryuunosuke's done the same. At the same time, he also believes Ryuunosuke entirely when he says there's nothing that he wants from the Grail; it follows, then, that there's probably not much he wants here, either. Just the same, it's...interesting, really, and one of several things on Tsukiyama's mind.
Not like it's putting a damper on his mood any, though; god, today has been good.]

You know, you really don't need to knock, Tsukiyama!
[But he ushers his friend inside anyway and shuts the door behind him. The lock follows shortly, as always.
Ryuunosuke's room has a new addition in the form of that horrible glitter cannon. It's covered in (even more) glitter as is the floor around it, and judging from Ryuunosuke's... everything, it looks like a certain someone might have put it to the test.
THERE'S GLITTER EVERYWHERE AND IT'S WONDERFUL. He's already taken two showers to try to get most of it out of his hair, but it looks like it wasn't very effective.]
How are you doing? You seem to be doing pretty great today!
[He doesn't ask the obvious question because he's not sure he really wants to know. His curiosity will probably get the better of him at some point though.]
no subject
I am, yes - it seems providence has decided to be good to me today.
[He lets his gaze flick over all that glitter, though.]
And it looks like you've been having fun.
no subject
[Ryuunosuke laughs at Tsukiyama's words, though he's not embarrassed at all.]
Of course! You gave me that wonderful thing, I had to put it to use somehow!
[...]
On a totally unrelated note, you might not want to use the pool for awhile.

[SIR...]
Did you jump in after you were done with it?
no subject
[He looks like he can't decide if his expression should be sly or ashamed, so it ends up being a really weird combination of both.]
no subject
As long as you've been enjoying yourself, it was a decent investment.
no subject
[Honestly, it's kind of weird. He's pretty sure Tsukiyama doesn't want anything from him but he never actually asked...]
Actually, uh... You... hmm.
[...How does he ask this??]
Well, I'm not used to people giving things without expecting anything. So um... is there something you want from me?
[That's the clumsiest possible way he could have handled it, and Ryuunosuke winces.]
Sorry, sorry, it's not like I'm expecting you to be using all this against me or anything. I'm not that paranoid! I just...
[But he stops there with a helpless shrug, because for some reason, he's really not sure why he needs this clarified.]
no subject
[He doesn't seem troubled by it; it's just a statement that he's willing to shrug off quickly enough.]
I can hold you accountable in some way if it would be more familiar or less stressful to you, but as far as I'm concerned there isn't any sort of balance for you to clear, no.
no subject
[It makes me want to give you things in return nearly leaves his mouth before Ryuunosuke shakes his head with a laugh. What a weird thought.]
If there is anything I can do for you, just let me know, alright? I really do want to help you. I can't think of anything I wouldn't do for you, actually.
[That's also a surprising thought, but it's an easy one to dismiss. It's only natural. Tsukiyama is the first real friend he's had, after all.]
no subject
[He seems more amused than truly interested in doing anything about it, though; he reaches out to run his fingers through Ryuunosuke's hair a little, his hand coming away flaked in glitter.]
I'll keep that in mind, however; you're being good to me.
no subject
[The response is prompt and very serious.]
Maybe it's dumb to think that after only knowing each other for such a short time but... I really do mean it, Tsukiyama.
[He's not sure he could explain it if he tried.]
no subject
What's gotten into you today, Uryuu?
no subject
[...Is he acting weird??]

no subject
[He rubs the back of his head with an awkward laugh.]
no subject
I'll let you know, then, if there's anything I need from you - in the meantime, I have something to show you, should you be interested.
[Because there's really no sense in dwelling on feeling and all that.]
I told you that once I started feeling well enough, I would let you see what I use I hunt people. Are you still interested?
no subject
Ryuunosuke perks up immediately - any excuse to avoid feelings is a good one, but this sounds excellent.]
Oh man, you can do it? You sure it won't mess with you too badly? I really, really want to see it, but I don't want you to risk hurting yourself or anything.
no subject
[He's unfastening his suit jacket as he speaks, casting it aside as soon as he's done so; he tips his head for a moment, thinking, before he starts unfastening the shirt beneath it as well.]
It's not usually this much of a production - I like to preserve my suits, of course, but I don't see much sense in destroying a perfectly acceptable shirt when they're in such short supply here.
[...Aaand that's off, good lord.]
It's been a while since I could use it here, but just for a short time shouldn't be bad.
no subject
You've got me really curious now. It doesn't have to be for long, but I really do want to see it! If you say it doesn't hurt, then I'll trust you. I'll just stay over here!
no subject
[And that's all the forewarning he gives, really; as he'd said, he doesn't seem hurt any or taken at all off-balance by the sudden change, though it definitely seems like the sort of thing that should cause at least one of those reactions to hit him hard - the cells are sharp as they pierce his back from the inside, splitting the skin and forcing their way out from just beneath his shoulderblade. The resulting structure is long and thick and whiplike, spiraling loosely around his right arm before solidifying, the coil shining dark and metallic against his body.
The damn thing is massive, at least for something that's just kind of wrapped around someone's arm like that and supported by their damn shoulder and nothing else; it's definitely got a sense of weight to it, and for now he's content to leave it like that - more defensive than anything, and when he brings it up in front of him it's in more of an obvious shielding capacity than anything else.
He moves his hand a bit underneath it; the kagune shifts with it, the spiral tightening a bit before solidifying again - it's flexible, not fixed, and when Tsukiyama looks at Ryuunosuke again his eyes have shifted back into the unnatural black and red from a few nights ago.]
I'm not going to hurt you any, if you want to get a better look.
no subject
The first thing he does is reach out to touch it. It's not like flesh at all, but he didn't expect it to be. He runs his hands down it, eyes wide and shining with barely-contained glee. The next order of business once he's gotten the feel of it is to examine how it's connected to Tsukiyama, so he paces around to look at Tsukiyama's back. It certainly looks painful, but he trusts that Tsukiyama wouldn't lie to him. He's kind of tempted to poke it, but instead he circles back around so he can attempt to lift the thing and see the underside.]
This is...
[He seems a bit started by his own voice, like he hadn't realized he was so quiet.]
Tsukiyama, this is-- it's... oh man, I don't even have words for how cool this is I mean it's--
[He loses his train of thought though and continues poking the shield-thing curiously. For once his eyes don't look dead as hell, even if he is handling this like a literal five year old.]
no subject
...Enjoying yourself...?
no subject
[He's not going to take his hands off it until you tell him to, uh.]
And it's so pretty! It's like a ribbon - a really dangerous, awesome ribbon that could probably slice me to ribbons. Hah!
[SPARKLE-EYES]
Ghouls are so cool! I'm so jealous, it must be awesome to be a ghoul!
no subject
[You might want to let go of it, buddy.]
no subject
[He lets go immediately and backs up again, though Ryuunosuke doesn't bother sitting down this time. He knows he'll be back up in Tsukiyama's business shortly anyway.]
What else can you do with it?
