just start a scene if you want one and i will play with you
state who you want in the subject line
you don't need to ask me for permission, i will roll with pretty much anything
the only restriction in place is that i don't smut
(trust me i can't smut for shit it would be a mess you don't want it)
otherwise everything is fair game, have a party
my darling child hello
Dear, will you help me make dinner tonight?
[Ryuunosuke's engaged with Sigrun in the other room talking about the coolest way she's ever killed a troll, so it's probably not too bad to separate them by a room.]
hello sweetheart
[Separating them by that much is going to be more than all right, really; they're...incredibly codependent but it's not as though they can't bear it, and besides, it's not as though he won't be easily found.
So yes. That's fine, and he doesn't have any qualms about it, honestly; he'll follow easily.]
no subject
I know you don't like cooking anything that bleeds, so, hm... Clam stew will be fine. Pour me a bowl of water to soak these in, won't you?
[He'll just be getting out like four dozen clams. And a whole bunch of vegetables and spices. While he's doing that, he'll start up conversation again.]
How are you liking Dalsnes?
no subject
It's taking some getting used to! But it's fine, really - it's almost charming, in its own way.
no subject
I'm glad. Options were limited, but I wouldn't want to have dragged you to a place you'd hate.

HMM I WONDER
The relevant part of this is that he's left a letter for his sister, to be given to Reaver whenever he shows up again. (And he will show up again if the goddamn Queen of Albion has anything to say about it.) The letter is still sealed because Logan's sister has no interest in going through his mail, and it's written in his usual neat, flowing handwriting.]
Reaver -
I hope you've been well. I've heard you haven't been around the castle frequently lately, so I can only imagine you're still going on adventures with Rick. I haven't said a word to my sister, so she'll most likely be furious with you. Maybe you'll be lucky and she'll give this to you before she decides to yell at you, but I doubt that.
She'll tell you everything that's wrong in Albion and what you need to fix, but despite what she's said the country isn't in any imminent danger of falling apart. Don't feel too pressured to rush to meet her demands.
Perhaps I'll see you again at some point.
- Logan
[The signature at the end seems a bit hesitant and the ink has bled through a bit too thickly at points. He's still not used to signing letters without his title attached.
...Also he still sucks at writing letters, so there's that.]
no subject
And eventually a letter will be delivered by courier to that house in Millfields that Logan has decided is his now; the writing is familiar, immediately so.]
Logan -
Well, it's good to see that your sister continues to be exactly as humorless as she always was; I suppose things wouldn't quite be the same around here without her utterly unimpressed countenance on that throne of hers, now, would they. Don't worry, I've convinced her that the world isn't ending anytime soon - Albion is still standing, and it's going to be that way for quite some time to come of I have any say. (And really, why would I do any differently? As much as I leave the place behind, I do still like knowing there's a place left to come back to.)
Perhaps our paths will cross sometime; for the time being I'll be around for a while yet. I don't tire of adventuring, but apparently your sister is going to insist that at least half of her proposed changes aren't going to wait.
So who knows, at this point - it's more likely than not.
- Reaver
no subject
Reaver -
I would ask for you to be kind to my sister, but I know that's impossible. She certainly isn't being kind to you.
(For good reason. I've heard you put her through some harrowing experiences.)
Should you ever find yourself in the Millfields area, I wouldn't say no to spending some time in your company. From what I understand my sister purchased your manor, however.
- Logan
no subject
Logan -
Your family has a habit of doing that; it's never stopped me before. Whenever you'd like.
- Reaver
[Apparently he's likewise not opposed to time in your company, despite everything.]
no subject
Reaver -
Next Sunday, noon. I'll see you then.
- Logan
[That gives him nearly a week to prepare himself for... whatever this will end up being. He's not sure he's ready, but it will be nice to see Reaver again.]
WELL WHO DO YOU THINK, DAL
It'd been expected to find that she'd been deserted by her crew -- two months in one place is just a bad idea -- but she knows they can't have gone far, not when the city's so lush with treasures to be found, though even after a week it might feel more than a little fruitless.
Still, Sigrun Eide doesn't give up and doesn't lose hope, not when she's got an idea in mind.
... That idea isn't being put here, but she has another one instead, and she figures that it's not breaking a rule if she's the one doing it.
So: It's a nice night in former-Copenhagen and Sigrun's not sleeping just yet, she's crawling across the room to Mettaton with a hopeful look on her face just seen by the moonlight coming in by a mostly boarded window, voice lowered so not to wake the others still sleeping.]
Wanna touch the stars?
no subject
You don't have to ask twice, darling.
no subject
[Onto one of the higher roofs. There's a few flights of stairs in this building already and they're gonna get to the top floor they can before heading out a window and scaling to the highest they can find, but... for now, she's simply taking his hand to lead him up.
It's nice to hold hands. Even if she just kind of took her for herself.]
I know I said we couldn't exactly be out at night, but my gut's telling me this place is safe enough! So I thought we could do some stargazing. Even though I know you've seen them by now. I didn't think you'd complain about seeing them again.
[... Plus she knows around this time of year there's something special going on with them, but that's a secret she's keeping to herself. Maybe they'll catch them in time.]
no subject
Oh, believe me - the novelty has nowhere near worn off yet. It's still better than I'd always imagined it, actually.
[...And besides, if something tries to bother them they can deal with it; he has no doubt of that much.]

sup kimductor because you know why
Maybe it's fear that's kept her here. Of him, of the outside world, of the answer she's sure she'd meet if she asks to go home. At least he hasn't killed her again. That's a comforting thought. ...And all at once very not comforting, very much the opposite.
She remembers asking Lisbeth weeks ago what it was like being around the Conductor, alone. Now, she gets to learn that firsthand. Lucky her, hands-on experience.
There's only so long she can go, however, before she has to seek him out. She would like to say she lasted weeks, but no, she's not that strong; a few days, avoiding anywhere he might be, shutting herself away in her room. Too afraid to even find food. But, as she discovered with Asuka that fateful night, she does so hate being left alone with her thoughts...
...and she really never does learn.
Graceside's a big place. But she searches. Are there any pianos left the dear Conductor could be plucking away at? Or, could he be in his courtroom hideaway, the one they'd found as ghosts? ...the strange other half of the building where the corpses were stored, the one she woke up in? Come out, come out, wherever you are.]
of course I know why
It's unexpected, finding Ashley there in the music room upstairs - unexpected but not altogether unpleasant, really, judging from the sound of it when he greets her.]
Good morning, Miss Williams - I didn't expect to find you here, of all places.
no subject
The tone of his voice doesn't go unnoticed; she's not quite sure how to feel about that.]
It's been a few days. [She sound a little raw, like she's been crying or yelling. Or both.] Not knowing what...um, what was happening. It didn't feel...safe.
no subject
[At least from everything that's happening outside. Inside, not so much, but it isn't as though he's going to kill her, and it likewise isn't as though there's anyone else around to do it for him.]

Master Reaver
His town, his rules.
But after a few months of reconciling with friends and his wife, his steadfast desire to stay home forever went away. He started missing his fellow captives that were too busy or didn't want to risk coming to Mars. Then there were people like Logan who were too busy with their own universes to travel to his. So, if being in charge of one settlement wasn't too time consuming, why not go on a short trip?
After consoling Harriet that this wasn't going to be dangerous, he dimension hopped before, he packed a bag and went off to Albion to sightsee. And...it's beautiful. So green, so rustic, so quaint. He hangs out primarily at the castle, as that's where Logan usually is found, but he hasn't run into the former king yet.
Huh. Well, maybe he'll just wait in the courtyard like a regular guest. There's bound to be interesting people coming by he can gossip with.]
apparently notifs decided to just not be a damn thing, i'm sorry
But so it goes, and the important thing is that he's here now, isn't he, even if that involves spending more time around the castle than he'd really care to dealing with Queen Humorless I.
But at least the company remains as splendidly vapid as usual; some things never change, and the sort of upper-class individual that spends their time in the courtyards and gardens of this place never fails to entertain in that regard. What is surprising, then, is the fact that one of them is familiar today - and not in the way that these people usually are.]
My, my - and here I thought we might never see you again.
[And it doesn't sound like he's at all disappointed to actually see Mordecai here; he sounds amused, if not precisely pleased.]
The pleasure is mine once again, my dear, though I do have to ask what brings you here.
no problem!
Don't need much of a reason to visit a friend. [A steady stare. Reaver's not that terrifying when compared to Roy Mustang.] The surprise is mutual, but I reckon you're too important to this kingdom to be kicked out, what with bein' a leader of the Industrial Revolution and all.
[Would history be thrown off-course if Reaver was replaced? Hell if he knows.]
How's your company goin'? Treatin' your workers right?
hello darling son it's nice to talk to you again
[It's a nice evening, and Cherryblod is relaxing in the living room. Ryuunosuke is currently busy painting, and thus doesn't need his direct supervision right now.
Besides, he prefers to see his ward's pieces only once they're done, so he can be surprised.]
You said you'd get me to perform on stage with you.
no subject
Of course I remember, sweetheart. Why...?

[They may not be performing on live TV, but there are still plenty of ways to get him on stage.]
