That's the thing with flaunting your advantages; show them off too often, and sooner or later somebody will find a way to mitigate you in particular. Not that he thinks the Future Foundation is enough on their A-game to have really come up with a way of fucking him over especially, but faith and competence don't need a whole lot of help when messing up a psychic is as easy as getting your hands on a Dark-type Pokemon, so it's just sort of better all around to not push his luck too much, lest his indiscretions transform from minor annoyances that fly below everyone's collective radar into being a very real and immediate problem that somebody feels it necessary to resolve.
It's easy enough to keep people from noticing him. Without his powers dampened, there's little difficulty in wiping his memory from someone else's mind before it has the chance to record; other security measures are more complicated, but most of them involve a human sitting at the controls, which makes them vulnerable enough in their own right.
Lysandre, though — he always gets the courtesy of advance notice, usually in the form of an intern who walks into his workshop without any actual recognition of why he just had the abrupt impulse to be there, and who usually has a familiar tune whistling on his lips as he apologizes and excuses himself once again.
His visits aren't frequent, but he never lets them go too long in-between, either — usually on Sundays, but not always, and sometimes they're for Lysandre's benefit and sometimes they're for his. Sometimes they're for holidays and sometimes they're for no reason at all; sometimes he brings gifts with him, and sometimes he arrives empty-handed. But he comes, because this is important to him, and because he's gradually coming around to the idea that hey, when you've got someone who's proud of you, it's a pretty decent thing to do to check in once in a while.
Granted, when you've got a buddy who's on house arrest, it's a pretty decent thing to drop in and help to break the monotony (and the stupidity), too. There's also that.
Today, the bewildered intern that wanders into Lysandre's workshop leaves with the tune of "Witch Doctor" merry on her lips, and that's probably as good of a sign as any that Schuldig's going to be in soon, himself.]
AUing him into the Pokémon world.
Poké Shingyo School.
It was a school known for a unique but effective brand of Pokémon training, emphasizing freedom and creativity. Its founder, Master Chinan, was a longtime champion of the Johto region and had even vied for the world title. However, he had recently passed on -- apparently this was the last disciple he ever took. It might be wise to put this threat under sooner rather than later.
But as chance would have it, a grunt reported that the youth, one Minato Sakai, was staying at the Pokémon Center on Lumiose's South Boulevard, apparently gearing up to challenge Clemont. Perhaps this merited a personal investigation?]
