My heart feels dead inside; it's cold and hard and petrified

[He'd told Uryuu-san to meet him tonight.

He'd made a point of appearing throughout the day, of course, just so he'd avoid looking like a total recluse; he's not going to be taking any visitors outside of just the one tonight, for obvious reasons, and he'd prefer to not have to answer questions about why he's feeling less than sociable today. He'll leave the door ajar a bit for Uryuu-san; he's not going to sit around waiting for him, however, and so tonight will find him folding more of those roses.

He doubts he'll be stood up; he did promise that he'd have something ready by now, and the fact of the matter is that he does.]

[Oh don't worry, there's no way he'd stand Tsukiyama up. Ryuunosuke's spent the day as usual; it's not exactly obvious if he remembers the meeting is happening tonight or not, but after the nighttime announcements go off and it's been a few hours for everyone to settle down, Ryuunosuke approaches Tsukiyama's room, knocking on the door before poking his head in.]

Hey, Tsukiyama! You available to talk tonight?

[The words are for the benefit of anyone in the hallway, though he's pretty sure no one else is around. Despite his cheerful tone, Ryuunosuke looks almost like he's trying to be serious, so he seems to have remembered about the meeting.]

[Tsukiyama doesn't rise to greet him, he simply remains where he is; his own tone is light, but more than loud enough to be heard from the doorway, despite the awkward setup of the room.]

Of course, Uryuu-san; I did say anytime, didn't I?

[For the benefit of those who might be in the hallway.]

Yep, just wanted to double-check!

[Ryuunosuke enters and closes the door behind him. After a moment of consideration, he locks it as well, but he also immediately moves away from the door.]

So, you said you had something to give me, right?

[He hears the door lock, though he doesn't tense up at the sound; he wonders, vaguely, if he should have. Most people would when locked in the room with a serial killer, because that's generally a bad idea if you value your life; granted, Ryuunosuke's also effectively locked himself in here with Tsukiyama, something he likely doesn't realize is a worse idea.

But as it stands, Ryuunosuke seems to like him well enough, he certainly likes Ryuunosuke well enough, he's feeling fine and it's not like this isn't a meeting between friends.]

I do, yes - but sit down first. Tell me how you are tonight.

[Ryuunosuke does trust Tsukiyama! He did hesitate only because he was concerned Tsukiyama might think he was up to something, but it's really just to prevent anyone from trying to walk in on them. Tsukiyama's left his door open at night, so it's possible someone might come to try to talk to him now.

Anyway, he's very relaxed and he takes a seat on the edge of Tsukiyama's bed.]

I'm alright! I'm getting pretty bored and I don't think drawing's going to keep taking the edge off forever, but there are still a lot of movies to go through, so I think I'll be alright.

[In other words, he's not planning on murdering anyone yet.]

What about you? How are you doing?

I'm doing well tonight - whatever was troubling me earlier seems to have passed, anyway.

[You know, the reason he wasn't actually eating at the...everything this afternoon.]

I agree with you with regards to the boredom, however; once in a while people will alleviate it, but not nearly to the degree that I'd like.

Ohh, that's good!

[He's not sure what else to say about that, but he doesn't look too concerned at least.]

Yeah... it's really annoying. I can think of a bunch of things I'd like to do, but they involve getting out of here. I've never been claustrophobic in my life, but this is such a weird situation.

I've never really been fond of confined spaces, either - this is my first time spending any length of time in one, but I've spent a good amount of my time trying not to end up locked somewhere unfortunate.

[He slides one of the desk drawers open as he speaks and retrieves a few sheets of paper from inside of it; they're covered in his writing, and from the look of it they're...notes of some sort?]

Fortunately, however, the people here have been allowing me to amuse myself rather well.

[Locked up somewhere unfortunate? That's probably prison. He totally understands that feeling!!

Ryuunosuke looks very interested when Tsukiyama reaches into the desk.]

Oh yeah? So you've been keeping tabs on everyone, huh?

[His voice and expression are still pleasant, but there's something in his eyes that's much darker.]

That sounds fun.

[He passes them over easily; there are only four of them for now, but...]

[Ryuunosuke takes the papers eagerly and reads through them. It isn't long before his shoulders are shaking and he's trying to control his laughter.]

Tsukiyama... Oh, Tsukiyama, you're so good at this and these-- these idiots don't suspect anything! They trust you enough to tell you this much and you're willing to pass it along to me...

[He finally bursts out laughing, throwing his head back. The sound is surprisingly not unhinged, he just sounds incredibly joyful.]

This is so cool! These notes are so detailed and you've thought of everything... I-- Oh wow, I'm so, so flattered!

I've told you what it is I do - what makes me a terrible person. These people here...they haven't been entertaining me nearly enough, and I'm growing tired of their speeches and their attempts at friendship and their determination to save everyone.

[He's still smiling when he says it, but his tone is cold, as is the look in his eyes.]

You're one of the only people here who understands how to have fun. And like I said, the others take the edge off - but overall, I'm becoming very, very bored.

[Ryuunosuke settles a bit, his expression shifting into a smirk. It's still surprisingly pleasant.]

I kinda like that. Boredom usually leads me to think of more creative things to do. In a place like this, my options are severely limited, but I think I can liven things up around here.

[If he can outsmart the police on a regular basis, he's pretty damn sure he can get away with murder here.]

I'm kind of disappointed that no one's really panicking. I mean, I've been trying to calm down some of the more amusing potential victims, but... I dunno. Things are too relaxed. It's kind of aggravating sometimes.

[He carefully sets the papers down on the bed and then folds his arms.]

I'm also confused how exactly things are going to work afterwards. If everyone else is simply left in here, I'd hate to get away with murder and leave you here with no entertainment.

That's why we won't chance it, Uryuu-san.

[His eyes are still cold, but they're alive; it seems he's been considering this.]

What good is information if you won't use it? If no one moves to murder one another next week, I see no harm in encouraging them. Someone who can't possibly get away with it, someone we'll be able to catch easily.

It'll draw the bear out into the open - he'll have to explain what happens after that, c'est vrai? We can get our details at no threat to us, and then decide what to do from there.

You'll-- You'll push someone to murder. You'll convince them that their only chance is to get out and you'll twist your words in such a way that even if they go through with it and try to blame you for the idea, you can simply say you never meant such a horrible thing, why would they ever think that?

[Ryuunosuke laughs. This time the sound isn't pleasant.]

You're a genius! Oh my god, you're incredible! This-- This is the most amazing thing I've ever heard! You've already got so much out of them that with a little time and patience, you could have everyone in this place turned against each other!

[And off the bed he goes, pumping his fists into the air and shrieking at the top of his lungs.]

Greatest cool!!

[THAT IS NOT HOW YOU ENGLISH OH MY GOD]

You understand me so well, Uryuu-san - I knew there was a reason I found myself so drawn to you!

[There's a laugh beneath his words as he says it, and he doesn't seem too inclined to remain seated either given the speed with which he jumps to his feet, one hand at his chest and the other cast aggressively to the side.]

The finest shows are those that start with the players completely unaware! Let them get along, let them build their friendships, it'll make it all the better when one of them falls - can you imagine their responses when they find out that someone they trusted has killed one of their own?! That someone chose themselves over the group?! And of course, we'll be there to provide comfort for them when they do...

Colla bravura - their tears will be beautiful, Uryuu-san!

It'll be incredible! They'll be so upset that one of us is dead - someone will eventually point out that it had to have been someone here and the particularly stupid ones will be so horrified! "Who would ever do something like that?" or "It must have been the bear!" - they won't want to believe that any of us would actually do something so terrible!

[He runs his hands through his hair, trying to catch his breath. He's not calming down and he's not trying to calm down, but he needs a moment to breathe.]

And then-- And then! The murderer - that's what they'll be, no matter what reasons they give - they'll try to get away with it, they'll try to leave us all behind and escape but we'll catch them and out them! They won't understand and they'll be so upset and try to justify it but it won't matter!

[He bursts into laughter again and it's not long before he's crying from laughing so hard.]

It's wonderful, isn't it - and the best part is that it would be entirely their own fault.

[Unlike Ryuunosuke, Tsukiyama's outbursts tend to be violently explosive but overall short-lived; the adrenaline is already subsiding a little, but he's still smiling in a way that...isn't particularly nice, and he doesn't seem inclined to stop Ryuunosuke anytime soon or try to calm him down.]

Tell me, though, Uryuu-san - while you're waiting for one of them to snap, is there anyone in particular you're interested in? [He gestures towards those notes.] Anyone you'd want to get to know a bit better, I mean...

[That question does get Ryuunosuke to calm down a bit while he thinks. He taps a finger against his chin, staring down at the notes.]

Well, that depends. Isabelle is the one who interests me the most, but I wouldn't say I'm interested in getting to know her any better.

[He's smirking though, of course.]

I think I can handle her on my own, but I'll never turn down any information! Otherwise... Well, I usually prefer going after younger and smaller targets - anyone I can handle on my own, basically. There are a lot of those here, but I'll admit I'm pretty interested in Futo. Maya's pretty cute too, but I haven't spoken to her much. You've already got information on Kureha, Allie, and Haruka, so that's good!

I'll see what I can do about the others this week, then; if I find anything interesting on the other three, or discover that someone else suspects you, I'll let you know that as well.

Oh yeah, definitely let me know about that last one. I think I've been doing a pretty good job keeping my cover, but you can never be too careful!

Silver-san is the only one who's said anything to me about you; that's why he was included in what I'm giving you tonight.

[He drops down to one knee again, hand pressed to his chest in another of those incredibly flamboyant bows, similar to the one he'd offered the other day.]

It's good to know that you're so pleased with my work, Uryuu-san; I thought you would be the one to appreciate it here.

I'm so flattered, Tsukiyama... But you don't need to kneel!

[He runs a hand through his bangs, laughing lightly.]

I'll keep these notes safe, don't worry! I'm really, really pleased to have them. Between the two of us, we can easily figure out all sorts of things about the people here! Though uh, I haven't learned much outside of "Dave has a really weird brother" and "Rufioh is not a cosplayer, but an alien" so um... I'll work on seeing if I can get anymore more useful.

[Tsukiyama's response comes promptly, given as he stands up again.]

Strider-san had a brother.

...Ooooh.

[Ryuunosuke's eyes widen at that.]
