It's the turn of time that grinds the stone down into sand
[Tsukiyama had found Ryuunosuke in the elevator and it'd been easy from there – a hand wrapped around his forearm, a muttered insistence that he wasn't feeling well, could he stay with Ryuunosuke for a while because he thinks he might faint or be sick and doesn't want to be alone; it'd all been quiet insistences like that, voice low but words safe in the event that someone was close enough to overhear and willing to eavesdrop.
He hadn't relinquished his grip when the doors had slid open and they'd returned to the ground floor, and he seems sick and faint and he's requiring at least some support until they're safely in Ryuunosuke's room, and since Ryuunosuke knows everything else he's doing is a ruse (well, almost everything, Tsukiyama still can't tell him about...that because no one can know about that) he imagines there's no harm in letting him know about the entire blood phobia being utter bullshit as well, too.
So he pulls away once the door is closed and his entire demeanor changes; he still looks a bit pale but immediately less fragile, straightening up and immediately dropping any impression he may have been giving off that he was about to faint in the damn hallway, and his words are brisk and sharp while he contents himself with brushing wrinkles out of his suit that may or may not actually be there.]
My apologies for grabbing you; it disgusts me a little, having to do that in front of people.

It's alright. I've spent this whole day acting my heart out and it's been pretty painful.
[He groans and moves to sit on the bed. After a moment of thought he flops back, dragging his hands down his face.]
What a mess...
[He doesn't even know where to begin, so he'll let Tsukiyama handle that.]
no subject
Well, I suppose we know what the stakes are.
[And he sounds very, very bitter about that, and it takes him a moment to gear up to expressing why, but when he does the words just explode out of him at once.]
They're so inconceivably idiotic - I can't believe none of them thought to ask, they went almost the entire trial without asking and then they had the utter gall to complain about Monobear not feeding them answers?! Schifoso, seccante - they deserve everything they get!
no subject
I'm willing to forgive them for that since I didn't think to ask either. I've talked to the bear a couple of times and it never occurred to me. But I get why you're mad - I'm really angry too. Everyone was acting like this was such a hardship... like, what were they expecting? This was never going to be a walk in the park. It had to have been one of us. So would everyone have been fine if it had been someone they didn't like? What if Rufioh had been killed and Wario did it? Would they have been okay pressing the button then? Would they have been fine killing some guy they didn't like to save their own hides?
And then they turn around and say stuff like "well it's not really our fault" when hello, we're condemning them to death. We're not perfect little saints here. Yeah, sure, it's all Monobear's fault, but we're still willingly participating.
[He drops his head to the bed, making an irritated noise.]
And don't even get me started on how useless everyone was.
no subject
They're going to get themselves all killed at this rate, and I can't say I'll be sorry for it.
no subject
[He rolls onto his back now, staring up at the ceiling.]
...Well, Kayneth seems like the only halfway smart person there, but if he's taken out it shouldn't be a problem.
[Ryuunosuke glances over at Tsukiyama. He still looks kind of angry (not that the expression is normal for most people when they're pissed) but he's smirking.]
"Too nice" though? That's pretty hilarious. I think you should keep milking that for all it's worth. Sure, it's annoying, but if it'll keep suspicion off you, why not go for it?
no subject
[He sighs a bit then, leaning back in the chair and pinching the bridge of his nose for a moment as though trying to ward off a headache.]
Admittedly, the stupid blood phobia is going to work to my benefit as well, but it's going to render me useless during the investigations, otherwise I'd be able to assist you; how well did that go today?
no subject
[They deserve it after the shitshow today.]
The investigation?
[Ryuunosuke's grin widens into something that might truly be frightening were it on someone who isn't so baby-faced. When he laughs the sound is cold and manages to convey his anger better than his expression ever could.]
Hah! Those idiots! You should've seen 'em, Tsukiyama - they were just standing around and staring. I'm sure most of them have never seen a body before, but they were just so... so useless! I had to tell Isabelle and Duster to get out because all they were doing was staring at him and-- ugh.
Ulysses was okay hanging out in there with me though. I don't know if that means he's just been around dead people a lot or if he was okay putting his fear and shock aside to actually try to work. He wasn't particularly helpful either though. I had to do everything myself. I don't really mind that since I know what I'm looking for better than anyone else here.
[He sits up and folds his arms.]
I guess they managed to find a bunch of stuff in the media room which was good, but they're all useless around bodies. I think we can work with that though - if I'm the only one who can investigate the victims, I can easily throw people off our trail.
no subject
We need to wait until their numbers are down before we move. Even if they're all idiots, it's more likely that fifteen idiots will arrive at a correct conclusion than it is for five.
[If only through sheer statistical probability - sort of like how a thousand monkeys with typewriters will eventually produce Hamlet.]
Unfortunately, if we do that I'm going to be physically capable of less and I'm going to have to be careful when I do attempt, but it should be all right.
no subject
[Waiting is perfectly fine!]
Is there anything I can do to help? I mean besides think carefully about our targets and start coming up with ways to kill them that won't leave behind any evidence.

[And it's...not quite first-name basis but at the very least the honorific is off. Progress?
That said, though, he pauses for a moment before speaking again; he knows it's a terrible idea to say anything, but at the same time, nothing about this partnership has been a truly good idea.]
Perhaps I'll show you what I'm capable of as well, one day.
no subject
What you're capable of...? You mean like with the human trafficking?
[Well if you can get him victims easily he's not going to say no!]

She couldn't see me anymore because I tore out her eyes.
no subject
[WAIT WHAT NOW HOLD THE FUCK UP]
You tore out her eyes? How-- What... You tore out her eyes!?
[HOLY SHIT, TSUKIYAMA
Ryuunosuke also looks a little too excited again, um.]
no subject
Of course I did - they were very beautiful, as I said. Such unique gradation in the irises, the sort of eyes you can get lost in forever.
Why wouldn't I want to keep them for myself?
no subject
[Ryuunosuke looks like he's going to start crying. HE'S SO HAPPY...]
That's incredible, I just... Wow...
[A MAN LITERALLY AFTER HIS HEART
OKAY MAYBE NOT LITERALLY
HOPEFULLY NOT LITERALLY]

Ah, my personal hobbies aside...I told you about using people for blood sport, didn't I? I don't think I told you about one of our other pastimes in the industry - we call them dismantling shows.
I think you can get the idea based on the name alone.
no subject
[JESUS CHRIST ALLMIGHTY IF HE THOUGHT YOU WERE HIS SOULMATE BEFORE HE WAS COMPLETELY MISTAKEN]
So you-- You have people dismantle the victims in front of an audience? And everyone's okay with this?
Okay, that settles it, when we get out of here we're going back to your world!
no subject
[He rakes a hand back through his hair lightly; he sounds sort of like he wants to start laughing again.]
The dismantling shows are difficult to get into, but some of us keep pets. Scrappers, we call them. People with talents like yours; your artistic vision would be greatly appreciated at shows like this.
Come work for me. I'll get you into the community proper, and you can have as many victims as you want to play with. In return for the entertainment, I'll provide everything - room and board, anything you need - and you can do whatever you want during downtime, I hardly care.
I want to keep you, Uryuu; I won't accept anything less than that. It would be a detriment to everyone involved to do otherwise.
no subject
Yes, yes! Of course! I'd like nothing more, Tsukiyama! An environment like that... a place where my work will be seen... That's so cool! I can't wait to go! I-- I'm so excited!
[FISTPUMP!!!]

There are a few things that I'll need to tell you about our society beforehand, of course...there are a few activities we're into that even you may find a little beyond what you're willing to do, believe it or not. But that can wait for a later time, once we're a bit closer to victory and leaving this place.

[IT'S KIND OF HARD TO JUDGE OTHERS WHEN YOU'RE AN EVIL SERIAL KILLER
...on the other hand, look at what he's been doing all day.]
But alright. We'll talk about that more closer to the time! I'm so excited though, Tsukiyama... It's gonna be so cool!
