[Tsukiyama seems in high spirits tonight; it's a combination of his physical condition having taken an obvious upswing today and the motive going over well, really. It's a nice reprieve from everything the weekend decided to be; his energy is obvious when he goes to see Ryuunosuke that night.
The knock comes more from habit than necessity by this point; he's sort of wondering how Ryuunosuke took the motive, honestly, because Tsukiyama has definitely noticed the similarity between what he's been told about the Holy Grail War and this and he doesn't doubt that Ryuunosuke's done the same. At the same time, he also believes Ryuunosuke entirely when he says there's nothing that he wants from the Grail; it follows, then, that there's probably not much he wants here, either. Just the same, it's...interesting, really, and one of several things on Tsukiyama's mind.
Not like it's putting a damper on his mood any, though; god, today has been good.]

[...Is he acting weird??]

[He rubs the back of his head with an awkward laugh.]

I'll let you know, then, if there's anything I need from you - in the meantime, I have something to show you, should you be interested.
[Because there's really no sense in dwelling on feeling and all that.]
I told you that once I started feeling well enough, I would let you see what I use I hunt people. Are you still interested?
no subject
Ryuunosuke perks up immediately - any excuse to avoid feelings is a good one, but this sounds excellent.]
Oh man, you can do it? You sure it won't mess with you too badly? I really, really want to see it, but I don't want you to risk hurting yourself or anything.

[He's unfastening his suit jacket as he speaks, casting it aside as soon as he's done so; he tips his head for a moment, thinking, before he starts unfastening the shirt beneath it as well.]
It's not usually this much of a production - I like to preserve my suits, of course, but I don't see much sense in destroying a perfectly acceptable shirt when they're in such short supply here.
[...Aaand that's off, good lord.]
It's been a while since I could use it here, but just for a short time shouldn't be bad.

You've got me really curious now. It doesn't have to be for long, but I really do want to see it! If you say it doesn't hurt, then I'll trust you. I'll just stay over here!
no subject
[And that's all the forewarning he gives, really; as he'd said, he doesn't seem hurt any or taken at all off-balance by the sudden change, though it definitely seems like the sort of thing that should cause at least one of those reactions to hit him hard - the cells are sharp as they pierce his back from the inside, splitting the skin and forcing their way out from just beneath his shoulderblade. The resulting structure is long and thick and whiplike, spiraling loosely around his right arm before solidifying, the coil shining dark and metallic against his body.
The damn thing is massive, at least for something that's just kind of wrapped around someone's arm like that and supported by their damn shoulder and nothing else; it's definitely got a sense of weight to it, and for now he's content to leave it like that - more defensive than anything, and when he brings it up in front of him it's in more of an obvious shielding capacity than anything else.
He moves his hand a bit underneath it; the kagune shifts with it, the spiral tightening a bit before solidifying again - it's flexible, not fixed, and when Tsukiyama looks at Ryuunosuke again his eyes have shifted back into the unnatural black and red from a few nights ago.]
I'm not going to hurt you any, if you want to get a better look.

The first thing he does is reach out to touch it. It's not like flesh at all, but he didn't expect it to be. He runs his hands down it, eyes wide and shining with barely-contained glee. The next order of business once he's gotten the feel of it is to examine how it's connected to Tsukiyama, so he paces around to look at Tsukiyama's back. It certainly looks painful, but he trusts that Tsukiyama wouldn't lie to him. He's kind of tempted to poke it, but instead he circles back around so he can attempt to lift the thing and see the underside.]
This is...
[He seems a bit started by his own voice, like he hadn't realized he was so quiet.]
Tsukiyama, this is-- it's... oh man, I don't even have words for how cool this is I mean it's--
[He loses his train of thought though and continues poking the shield-thing curiously. For once his eyes don't look dead as hell, even if he is handling this like a literal five year old.]

...Enjoying yourself...?
no subject
[He's not going to take his hands off it until you tell him to, uh.]
And it's so pretty! It's like a ribbon - a really dangerous, awesome ribbon that could probably slice me to ribbons. Hah!
[SPARKLE-EYES]
Ghouls are so cool! I'm so jealous, it must be awesome to be a ghoul!
no subject
[You might want to let go of it, buddy.]
no subject
[He lets go immediately and backs up again, though Ryuunosuke doesn't bother sitting down this time. He knows he'll be back up in Tsukiyama's business shortly anyway.]
What else can you do with it?
no subject
He draws it down across his body and to his side with a flourish; it's been a while since he could do this properly, it feels amazing as hell.]
no subject
[Ryuunosuke is practically bouncing. He kind of wants to touch it. He's pretty sure it'll slice his fingers open. But he kind of wants to touch it.]
That's so incredible! All ghouls can do something like this, right? Oh man, that's-- that's so cool!
no subject
This is mine in particular - we all have different ways of using them, and there are different types besides, some more well-suited toward fighting certain others. Mine is mostly defensive; it's heavier than most, but I've worked out how to compensate for it.
[His eyes, at least, are back under control now that he's done actively messing with his kagune; he's willing to leave it out for a while longer, however, just because it feels good to be able to sustain it for a while.]
You're not the only one fascinated with our insides due to this sort of thing, however, it's a bit of an awkward topic for most.
no subject
I would have thought a defensive one would look ugly or boring, but yours is so cool! It must be the prettiest one - I can't imagine anything being this beautiful.
[IT LOOKS LIKE A RIBBON HE CAN'T GET OVER THAT]
I'm guessing that's not something you guys find acceptable? But oh man, I'd love to see what you guys look like on the inside! And you can heal yourselves too and oh man...
[There's a weird almost-dreamy look in his eyes.]
The things I could do to a ghoul... I hope I don't have to imagine it for too much longer! I really, really want to see what I can do with someone who can heal from the injuries I give them! Though I guess it'd be impossible to find anyone willing to do that and keeping them from killing me is going to be impossible...

[...]
There are organizations, though, dedicated to hunting us down; they like to remove the organ that regulates our bodies and produces things like this - [he tips his head toward his kagune] - and then they make weapons out of the more powerful ones after they kill us. It's why it's a bit of an uncomfortable topic for most.
I don't particularly mind them; they've been after me for years now.
no subject
[He settles a bit after a moment though.]
I can't wait to see more of it. I'm really, really glad you'll let me come with you, Tsukiyama!

He kind of appreciates feeling things, but this is still really weird.]
Thanks, I... I want to make you as happy as you make me. I'll do whatever I can!
no subject
[He withdraws his kagune then, allowing it to vanish entirely.]
Just promise me that you'll keep my life interesting, and that you'll continue to give me something to look forward to.
That's really all I ask.
no subject
[He'll never get bored of murdering people in Tsukiyama's world, he's sure of that!]
If there's one thing I'm good at - besides playing dumb - it's keeping things interesting. I won't let you down!

[Hang on, this is important. Normally it wouldn't be but things are different with Tsukiyama.]
So you're not really alone back home... are you?
[Ryuunosuke looks sort of alarmed by that thought.]
